Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jameson; 2 September 1966)[3][4][5[5]] is a Mexican and American actor as well as film producer. Her professional career began in Mexico with her starring role in the Telenovela Teresa (1989-1991) as and the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she was awarded an Ariel Award nomination. Through appearances in films like Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999), she quickly established herself in Hollywood. Hayek's portrayal of Frida Kahlo, a painter, in Frida (2002) the biographical documentary she made that earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. Also, she was awarded her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Hayek continued to produce and acted in action-oriented pictures Once Upon a Time in Mexico in the years following.
